"What do you seek?" - John 1:38

What are you seeking?
Are you seeking forgiveness?
Are you seeking eternal life?
Are you seeking to inherit the kingdom of God?

Many people seek the things listed above.

Are you also seeking:
To love your enemies?
To do good to those who hate you?
To bless those who curse you?
To pray for those who mistreat you?
To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also?
To him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic?
To give to everyone who asks of you and from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back?

Few people seek the things in the second list.

Hopefully, you don’t only want the top half of the list of what Jesus is offering.
Hopefully you don’t only want to be a half brother or sister of Christ.
Hopefully you want the whole list and you want to be a whole brother or sister in Christ.

If you completely turn to Christ he will make you whole.
However, if you only make a half turn won’t you be facing the wrong way?
