Jesus has always been the Christ.

The angel’s statement in Luke 02:11 confirms that Jesus was the Christ even the day He was born.

Luke 02:11 “For to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”

Jesus did not “become” the Christ at His baptism – He was already the Christ when he was born.
