In the parable of
the Good Samaritan Luke 10:25-37, a lawyer asks Jesus “what shall I do to
inherit eternal life?" Jesus asks “what is written in the law?" Two thousand
years later, lawyers in the USA have written what are known as “Good Samaritan”
laws in the USA. Fittingly enough, anyone who finds themselves deemed to be
acting according to the “Good Samaritan” laws - the rest of the law does not
apply to them. Hopefully you will find yourself in a similar situation in
eternity.
