"Let it be so
now; for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." -
Matthew 3:15
Jesus made this
statement just before his baptism. If you think about it, these words are
appropriate at every baptism. Part of the reason that we get baptized is to
fulfill all righteousness.
