At the time when Moses
and Jesus were born, the ruler of the country ordered the killing of all the
male infants in the region.
Exodus 1:22 Then
Pharaoh commanded all his people, "Every son that is born to the Hebrews
you shall cast into the Nile, but you shall let every daughter live."
Matthew 2:16 Then Herod, when he
saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, was in a furious rage. And he
sent and killed all the male children in Bethlehem and in all its region who
were two years old or under, according to the time which he had determined from
the wise men.
There are many
signs and wonders that Jesus did that were like those done by Moses – can you
find them? It is important that you know that Jesus fulfilled the prophecy in
Deuteronomy 18:15-19 so that you aren’t deceived into thinking it was someone
else. Do you know what religion claims that someone else fulfilled the prophecy
in Deuteronomy 18:15-19?
